New Year’s Day Hike

January 1, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us for our annual New Year’s Day hike which will be held this year at Huyser Farm Park. The property has a variety of different habitats including hardwood and pine forests, wetlands, and fields.

The Land Conservancy worked with the Huyser Family in 2000 and protected the property with a conservation agreement. Soon after, the property was transferred to Laketown township and made into a park for the use and enjoyment of the community.

There is a parking lot off of 64th Street just south of the intersection with 142nd Avenue, just 2 ½ miles north of the first stoplight west of Exit 41 on I-196.
