Volunteer Workday at McDuffee Creek Nature Preserve

April 12 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join the Land Conservancy and Trout Unlimited to restore stream habitat for trout and other aquatic wildlife!

Volunteers will work alongside LCWM and TU staff to install woody debris along McDuffee Creek to restore instream habitat features for trout and other aquatic wildlife which is lacking due to loss of riparian trees. This woody debris installation will complement riparian restoration efforts from 2021-2022 in which volunteers planted over 5,000 tree seedlings and live stakes.

Waders or muck boots are recommended! We will meet and park along 14 Mile Road. Signage will be posted to guide you.
