Join the Land Conservancy of West Michigan as we work to finish the boardwalk at McDuffee Creek Nature Preserve!

This workday will primarily include hauling lumber from the staging area down the trail where it will be installed as a boardwalk at a later date. Please note that it’s a 15-minute round trip on uneven trails to get one board from the parking lot to the staging area.

Volunteer assistance in hauling lumber to the staging area is remarkably valuable for LCWM staff, and allows the building of the boardwalk to come together quickly. Join us for this important workday as we get closer to finishing the trail system at McDuffee Creek Nature Preserve!

This event will happen rain or shine – please come dressed for the weather. Tools, water, and snacks will be provided! Please wear boots and bring your own work gloves.

We will meet at the 14 Mile Road. preserve entrance.
