Join Friends of Grand Rapids Parks and the Land Conservancy of West Michigan on Saturday, November 18th from 10:00am-12:00pm for a tree identification walk through Oakhill Cemetery!  

Oakhill Cemetery was named West Michigan’s first arboretum in 2021, with over 25 different tree species. Join certified arborists from Friends of Grand Rapids Parks to learn the basics of tree identification and terminology.  

Just a few days before the Land Conservancy of West Michigan’s Holiday Hike Challenge kicks off, this is a great opportunity to brush up on your tree ID knowledge before competing for the Holiday Hike grand prize!
