    Another day of collecting seeds of native prairie plants to use in restoration projects at Saul Lake Bog and other nature preserves.

  • Stewardship Workday at Lamberton Lake Fen Nature Preserve (Second Saturday)

    Each winter, volunteers come out to Lamberton Lake, bundled in warm clothes and armed with loppers, to restore the fen. Lamberton Lake Fen is threatened by takeover by invasive glossy buckthorn and years of diligent work have started to show amazing sings of success. We'll warm up after the workday at Hideout brewery, just down the road from the preserve.

    Garlic mustard, while a nice addition to a salad, is a threat to many of our nature preserves. Join other volunteers and help pull the garlic mustard before it takes over the preserve!
