Join the Land Conservancy of West Michigan and botanist Bill Martinus for a guided hike through Ottawa Sands! Throughout the hike, Bill will share about the history and acquisition of the Ottawa Sands property by Ottawa County Parks, as well as basic property information, geology, and a natural features inventory.
The hike will be around 1.6 miles round trip. The trail is mostly gravel, with some hilly sections of loose sand.
Space is limited, so please register to attend! The event will happen rain or shine, come dressed for the weather. We will meet at the Ottawa Sands trailhead. Due to construction, parking will be available at Coast Guard Park (a tenth of a mile from the trailhead). LCWM staff will be available to direct you to the trailhead.
