Fall is a wonderful time to look for fungi in the forest. Join us on an excursion to find and learn about mushrooms at Flower Creek Dunes Nature Preserve!

LCWM Stewardship Manager Lucas Dykstra will lead us as we look for mushrooms, learn how to identify different types, and discuss mushroom anatomy and terminology.

We will meet on the northernmost side of the Meinert Park parking lot, and will hike .25 miles into the preserve. This outing may involve hiking along sandy and occasionally steep trails. The event will take place rain or shine – please come dressed for the weather!
