Big Fish Fly Fishing Event

October 4 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

This summer, Outdoor Afro – Grand Rapids is hosting a Big Fish Fly Fishing event at McDuffee Creek Nature Preserve in partnership with LCWM and The Mayfly Project! Join us as we spend the day learning the basics of fly fishing and putting our new skills to the test.

Transportation, lunch, gear, and even a free or discounted one-day or annual fishing license are included – just come ready to learn!

This event will happen rain or shine – please come dressed for the weather. In case of severe or dangerous weather, the event may be postponed or cancelled – if this is the case, registrants will be notified of any changes via email and social media.

Spots are limited, so we will not be able to accommodate drop-in attendees for this event. Please register for this free event online via the Outdoor Afro app.
