Sunset Yoga at Dune Harbor Park

June 20 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Free

Join us at Dune Harbor Park for a one-hour slow flow yoga class on the beach during sunset to celebrate the start of summer and longest day of the year. This class is appropriate for any level of yoga experience (or none at all!). Please bring a beach towel or yoga mat, as well as water.

The class will be lead by the Land Conservancy of West Michigan’s Development Manager, Han Meadway. Han is also a Registered Yoga Teacher who loves bringing creativity and play into physical movement practices. He deeply believes all yoga classes can- and should- be accessible, approachable, and inclusive for everyone. Please note that this class will take place on uneven ground and will require a short walk (~0.25 miles) over sand from the parking lot to the event area.

Dune Harbor Park Muskegon County is Muskegon County’s newest and largest park, featuring 377 acres of hilly forested dunes, two inland lakes, and Lake Michigan shoreline. We will meet on the North Lake, just North of the Lincoln St. parking lot (2925 Lincoln St). Follow the gravel service road, located just north of Winnetaska Road and just south of the Cannon Factory, until you reach a yellow gate and parking area. Keep an eye out for staff and signs on the corner of Lincoln Street so you don’t miss it!

This event will happen outside. In the case of severe or dangerous weather, the event may be postponed or cancelled. Registrants will be notified of any changes via email and LCWM’s social media.

Please register to attend!
