Join the Land Conservancy of West Michigan and the John Ball Zoo on a night hike at Saul Lake Bog Nature Preserve! Travis Kurtz, Community Science Coordinator at the Zoo and member of the local FrogWatch chapter, will lead us on a hike as we listen and look for frogs and learn more about their habitats and calls.
Brush up on your Michigan frog calls before the event at Froggy Voices of Michigan. If you’re interested in participating in FrogWatch and would like to enter an observation site and log observations online, you can learn more at FrogWatch Fieldscope.
Parking for this event is available in the Saul Lake Bog parking lot.
This event will be occurring at night, and will meet rain or shine – please come dressed for the weather! Headlamps and flashlights are welcome. In the case of severe or dangerous weather, the event may be postponed or cancelled. Registrants will be notified of any changes via email.
