POSTPONED + SOLD OUT | Nighttime Hoot & Hike

January 30 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

DUE TO SEVERE COLD WEATHER, THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED TO JANUARY 30. IF YOU’VE ALREADY PURCHASED A TICKET, YOUR REGISTRATION WILL CARRY OVER TO THE NEW DATE. PLEASE EMAIL KENDRA@NATURENEARBY.ORG WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS.

Join the Land Conservancy of West Michigan and local ecologist Joel Betts on a night hike! Joel will lead us as we listen and look for owls, and as we learn about the species that can be found in West Michigan, their migration patterns, and their habitats.

This event will be occurring at night, and will meet rain or shine – please come dressed for the weather! Headlamps, flashlights, and snowshoes are welcome. This event will include ~2 miles of hiking, potentially through snow, on natural surface trails.

In the case of severe or dangerous weather, the event may be postponed or cancelled. Registrants will be notified of any changes via email and our social media channels.

We will gather at 5:30pm at the Cascade Peace Park Trailhead parking area (off Grand River Drive), located at 8890 Grand River Drive SE.
