Join the Land Conservancy of West Michigan, the Wittenbach Wege Center, and local ecologist Joel Betts on a night hike! Joel will lead us as we listen and look for owls, and as we learn about the species that can be found in West Michigan, their migration patterns, and their habitats.
Parking is available at the Wittenbach-Wege Center parking lot.
This event will be occuring at night, and will meet rain or shine – please come dressed for the weather! Headlamps & flashlights are welcome. In the case of severe or dangerous weather, the event may be postponed or cancelled. Registrants will be notified of any changes via email.
The trails at Wege Foundation Natural Area are 1.5 feet wide, and are natural surface trails. The average grade is 1%, with a maximum grade of 6%. This event will include up to 1.5 miles of hiking, potentially through snow.
