The Land Conservancy of West Michigan is hosting an educational meeting for landowners near the Lake Michigan shoreline to learn about Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA), an invasive insect responsible for the decline of our native hemlock trees. Join the Land Conservancy along with the Michigan DNR, Ottawa Conservation District and Ottawa County Parks to learn about treatment methods and assistance available to help protect these important trees.
The same meeting will be held at three different dates and locations. All lakeshore landowners with hemlock trees on their property are welcome to attend the meeting that works best for their schedule.
