Join us for our annual New Year’s Day hike which will be held this year at Fruitland Township’s Duck Creek property. The Land Conservancy is currently working with Fruitland Township to protect this property with a conservation easement. The hike will take place on the south side of this 300-acre property, to take a look at beautiful Duck Creek!

Depending on the interests of the group, we may also drive a short distance to Duck Lake State Park and take in Duck Lake and the wintry Lake Michigan shoreline.  Trails are not maintained and conditions may be challenging and you should dress for the weather.

Parking will be available in the small lot west of the Fruitland Township Fire Barn.
