Dumaw Woodland Nature Preserve Dedication

Join us as we celebrate and dedicate Dumaw Woodland Nature Preserve!

Thanks to a generous donation from the Tomandl family during the summer of 2023, this 60 acre preserve in Oceana County will be permanently protected. The preserve is mostly forested, with wetlands and a creek running through it, and protects 1,500 feet of frontage on Dumaw Creek and 700 feet of frontage on the Pentwater River. Let’s celebrate making this beautiful landscape available to public exploration!

Limited parking is available in the Dumaw Woodland parking lot – please carpool if you are able. We will have snacks and beverages to enjoy, and will toast to the preserve before heading on a guided exploration of the trails.

The event will take place outdoors rain or shine. Access to the event area will require a short walk along a steeply graded trail. Please dress appropriately.

Please reserve your tickets for this event below.

When: Saturday, June 1, 1-2 p.m.
Where: Approximate Address is 4245 W. Hogan Road, Pentwater, MI
