The Land Conservancy of West Michigan is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works to keep nature nearby and help people protect, enjoy, and care for natural land in West Michigan. We conserve land by creating public nature preserves, providing support to communities and local governments creating natural areas, and helping private landowners protect their own land.

Thank you to all the Second Saturday Volunteers who joined us this weekend! They braved the cold to help care for The Highlands, our partnership project with @blandfordnaturecenter. We planted seeds to expand native habitat and cleared some shrubs to support the health of one of the wetlands. The final Second Saturday Workday of 2024 ended with a rainbow over our heads (photo courtesy Andrew Lidral)!

We are so grateful to everyone who has joined us to help care for our nature preserves this year. We'll see you again in 2025!

Thank you to everyone who joined the Green Guardians and participated in our Giving Tuesday campaign by hosting a fundraiser or making a donation. Together, we raised $3,755 for the protection and care of West Michigan's natural lands! We are grateful for this community of heroes who shows up to keep nature nearby every day. Thank you.
