Nature Preserves

Natural Areas Map  :  Preserve Guidelines

The Land Conservancy of West Michigan owns and manages 13 nature preserves within our 8-county service area (Kent, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Ottawa, northern Allegan, southern Lake, and southern Mason Counties).  These beautiful natural areas are permanently protected as places where we can hike, enjoy wildlife, and be surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.

Several additional properties are owned by local units of government, but were protected with assistance from the Land Conservancy.
